THANKFUL THURSDAY
I’m thankful for where my family lives, by this I don’t mean Canada 🇨🇦. Although, yes I am thankful for everything the great North has giving me, even the bitter cold days when I’m still wearing shorts to work.
I’m thankful for our little slice of Mother Nature. Our 3 acres in the country that we call home. Yes she needs work constantly and we have done so much already but it seams with an acreage it’s never ending. Always something to repair or fix. Trees blow over and needing to be bucked up and split. Exterior projects to do all the time. Interior projects to do all the time and me working lots ... I have the wife with the patience of a Saint, so thank you Lee for being so awesome ❤️
Problems with internet are a big one for boys and their on line gaming. Many improvements have been made to the internet over our 10 years here. I remember when we would have to load an iTunes movie the day before we wanted to watch it, now it takes 10 min.
We have paths cut through our trees to walk, ride bikes and quads, it’s my slice of heaven and I love it dearly. It makes me happy, it is my happy place. Being so close to Mother Nature recharges me. We are minute to great trails and Elk Island National Park. Our neighbors are an acre or more away... we have peace and quite to live life as we want to .
