I bet you would never guess that I LOVE rap music!! I LOVE N.W.A, Ice-T, snoop dogg, Eminem, Ice cube, Dr.Dre, Biggie. The list goes on. I love almost all music, my playlists consist of older music and older Rap. But NWA has a top spot on my list, they over came MASIVE amounts of racism and adversity’s to become the most famous rap group in history. I still shock all the young kids at work because I know all the lyrics to many Rap songs.., you should see there faces 😂 N.W.A means many things to me, yes N.W.A is one one my favourite groups and changed the rap world forever. I HIGHLY recommend watching Straight out of Compton. Gold, Pure Gold

Well as much as I love NWA, in this post NWA doesn’t mean the famous rap group. In this blog it means NEVER WALK ALONE.

In this life you are never alone. If you have problems and need help, find a friend, family member, mom, dad, sister or brother to talk too. If those people options don’t exist for you, try a help line, your school teacher or even social media. I’ve found many people are quick to help out or lend an ear to someone in need.

Life throws curve balls constantly, it’s hard out there and now a days it’s even harder with the world going through a pandemic. When some one calls you to talk or asks you for a favour, remember, you could change this persons life. You don’t know what someone else is going through or what straw they are on. Maybe they are really not doing well and just need an ear. That man siting on the side walk, with a sign asking for money, might be literally starving to death and need food for him or his family or he might want booze but who am I to judge him. If I can spare some money, then I give it... really I always give it. If you haven’t read my blog I USED TO DO ALIT OF GRASS vol 3 It gives a great perspective not to judge.

I love the Rock and I think so does Lee, for different reasons of course 🤣, I watched him wrestling years ago and now I really enjoy watching his movies. Lee on the other hand, could be his body like a Hawaiian God . I think he is a great action star and a real inspiration to so many. His words of encouragement to his fans and people world wide have made me reassure why he’s a great role model more than once.

Did you know the Rock played for the University of Miami and even won the 1991 championship, was in the 1995 NFL draft but went undrafted because of a never ending injury, he went to a little small Canadian CFL team In 1995.

He tried out for the Calgary Stampeders but was CUT from the Stampeders as well?! The Rock was 22 and crushed. Depressed and heart broken. Little did he know what the years had in store for him. He never gave up, fought on, and jumped in the ring. This failed football career gave him the strength to start his WWE career which he had many championships. His fans and peers called him .....

THE PEOPLES CHAMPION

All of this led him on a path to where he is today, that career paved his way to Hollywood. He is on top of the world in Hollywood. Every movie he does blows the box office up. The Rock is a Champion. Not just in WWE....

I was debating on a Coil series or Cinnamon? Which would be better? As far as interaction with viewers I say Cinnamon, I can get feed back or they can ask questions on issues they are having in there own homes. Also this will give viewers a chance to request a repair 🔨 , sure I can do all this via Coil/Twitter but not as seem less and video I think is better. In this blog series there will be shop tips and construction methods that I’ve gathered in my days, weeks, years and decades in the trades. There might even be a project or two. I’ve learned lots from some great people over the years, I figure I should pass on some of this knowledge or teach if you will.

As you all know, I’m not that comfortable with talking or being on camera, so these are my reservations about Cinnamon. My goal eventually this will move to a Cinnamon Video series. But for the time being let’s do one on coil. So let’s do this for subscribers only

When our boys were younger, 8 and 12, they loved having sleep overs with kids from school. Minimum 8 kids would spend the night , play games and maybe watch a scary movie 🍿. Then in the mornings Lee would make pancakes, eggs , bacon , sausages, hash browns , toast , crepes ect . It was made a feast fit for gladiators after battle , just what they needed.

Aside from movies and games, another thing they loved to do was make cardboard swords with duct tape for strength and originality. They fashion helmets and shields, like the metal smiths of old medieval times, except there was no forge burning coal to shape the black iron into a sword. They were armed with scissors, cardboard and many colours of duct tape to forge there armory of weapons for the battle that would soon begin . There creativity was exploding out ward into the world, it was really neat to see and Home Depot loved all my buying of duct tape 😂

While the kids had there traditions at sleep overs, so did Daddy. I would try and scare them or play pranks. I would put on a mask and go out on the front deck and sit and watch them, watching a scary movie, they would freak out when they finally noticed me looking in with my clown mask from American Horror Story.

Another of my favourite things to do was I would wait till they were watching a scary movie, my favourite Movie for this prank was Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I would get all dressed up with a Halloween mask and all. Go out to my garage and find my chainsaw, take the chain off my chainsaw so it was not dangerous to anyone. Then I would bust in the back door wielding the weapon of choice with the motor revving and smoke billowing from the exhaust and chase them. They scattered and ran away screaming. It seemed I always caught them off guard and they loved it and screamed AGAIN AGAIN

A NEW REIGN OF TERROR 🩸

I’ve upped my game, I’ve thought of a new prank or scare tactic. So now like a cougar in the trees I wait for my prey .... I catch wind that the kids are having a sleep over this weekend and all the regulars are coming. Perfect I think to my self.....

A regular night of gladiator battles, pizza and movies ensued, I said I wasn’t feeling good and all the boys are ok with it. I think a little disappointed no terrifying scare tonight. So I get into our bedroom and my plan takes shape. I tell my wife it’s on, it’s on like Donkey Kong baby ! I go down stairs to the electrical panel and flick the breaker off , dead silence through out the pitch black house .... I smash a glass in a bag so everyone could hear. I text Jake, my oldest son. I’m in the Blue bubbles and he’s in white.
